<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase drawing strength of a high-pressure joint section through increase of the frictional force between a high-voltage generating part and the high-pressure joint section by eliminating a space, which otherwise occurs when an ignition coil and the high-pressure joint section are jointed together. <P>SOLUTION: In the ignition coil for internal combustion engines to be disclosed, an ignition plug and the ignition coil are jointed in the high-pressure joint section 4. A rubber-made cap part 41 is provided in the high-pressure joint section 4, wherein the cap part 41 has a swelling-out part. When a high-voltage generating part 22 of the ignition-coil main body 2 is inserted into the high-pressure joint section 4, the swelling-out part is deformed by being pressed by the high-voltage generating part 22 to tightly contact thereto and fills the space that occurs due to the presence of a draft angle required in the manufacturing process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
