SPACE FILTERING METHOD, SPACE FILTER, AND ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space filtering method and a space filter to reduce a jag in a peripheral part of a flow image without an evil influence, and an ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus having a space filter of that sort. SOLUTION: The pixel values of the flow image is divided on the basis of positive and negative threshold values into a first group having values larger than the positive threshold value, a second group having values between the positive and negative threshold values and a third group having values smaller than the negative threshold value (901), wherein the pixel values in the first group are respectively replaced by the weighted average values of that pixel values and the pixel values which belong to the first and second groups among the pixel values in the neighboring region (903), the pixel values in the second group are replaced respectively by the weighted average value of that pixel values and the pixel values in the neighboring region (905), and the pixel values in the third group are respectively replaced by the weighted average values of that pixel values and the pixel values which belong to the second and third groups among the pixel values in the neighboring region (907).
