PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit for a vehicle in which crew of its own vehicle does not feel uneasiness about driving support. SOLUTION: The display unit 1 for vehicles mounted on its own vehicle which is provided with a control means 12 for giving driving support is provided with a display composition means 13 for generating a driving support image in which contents of the driving support to be given by the control means 12 in the future are described, and a display means 14 for displaying the driving support image generated by the display composition means 3.
