PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device which enhances steering feeling by increasing/reducing steering auxiliary force in promptly reflecting driver's intention in transitional variation of vehicle speed. SOLUTION: An actuator 9 for controlling steering auxiliary force is controlled such that magnitude of the steering auxiliary force is conversely correlated to measure of the determined vehicle speed. A correction reference value for representing a speed of variation of an operation amount of a member 15 to be operated for generating variation of the vehicle speed by being operated is determined. The actuator 9 is controlled such that when the member 15 to be operated is operated so as to increase the vehicle speed, the steering auxiliary force is reduced in response to increase of the determined correction reference value and the steering auxiliary force is increased in response to increase of the determined correction reference value upon reduction of the vehicle speed.
