PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an estimation of a passing width or the like of a road out of a map, and particularly to efficiently perform a navigation process even in the travel in an area where the condition of the road varies according to the season or weather, or even in the case in which the kind of a mobile body is changed. SOLUTION: In the navigation device which outputs navigation information on a display screen on the basis of current position information and map information and which performs the navigation process for the mobile body, a processing part 7 is provided, which determines the trace of the mobile body on the basis of the current position information and the map information, which prepares a new road drawn by the trace and the width of the road corresponding to the passing width of the mobile body when the trace is out of the road on the map information, and which outputs the new road on the display screen.
