PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver whereby a user can easily purchase a required program in accordance with user's diversified needs. SOLUTION: A second purchase history stored in a management DB 31 stores the name of a purchased program, presence/no presence of viewers of the program, and a user (viewer) who viewed the program. The presence/no presence of viewers and a program viewed by a viewer are stored by entry from a viewer entry screen. On a purchase screen, a user (purchaser) for purchasing a program and a program to be purchased can be selected.
