PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device and method that can appropriately correct conversion information. SOLUTION: The printing device 10 includes a memory 218 to store LUT as conversion information to convert image data corresponding to an image to be exposed to exposure data of a required gradation. The temperature of an exposure means 228 is detected by a temperature detector 216. On the basis of the detected temperature, the correction value of LUT is computed. When the change of the correction value exceeds a prescribed threshold value, LUT is corrected. Image data is converted to exposure data by using the corrected LUT, an image is exposed on a photographic paper S by the exposure means 228 on the basis of exposure data after conversion.
