PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire driving device capable of preventing a wire from being detached and provided with structure having high operability when stretching the wire. SOLUTION: The wire 26 is wound and stretched around a driving drum 25 and moved in the stretched direction by the rotation of the driving drum 25. The wire driving device is provided with an auxiliary roller 31 for stopping the detachment of the wire 26 from the driving drum 25 and the auxiliary roller 31 can select a first position for arranging the roller 31 on a position opposed to the wire winding surface 25a of the driving drum 25 to perform a wire detachment preventing function and a second position for arranging the roller 31 on a position other than the outer peripheral part of the wire winding surface 25a by turning the rotary shaft 310 of the roller 31 with a support pillar as a fulcrum. On the second position, no obstacle is present on the outer peripheral part of the wire winding surface 25a and the stretching work of the wire 26 can be smoothly performed in maintenance or the like.
