[Also in Division B8] A plastics sheet window in a display carton (see Division B8) is folded by pressure of a mandrel 36 (Fig. 5) with undercut edges 38 adjacent the folds into a resilient die pad 34 (Fig. 6) such as rubber. A single die pad may be used or individual ones mounted on rockers 35 at the folds. The mandrel is rotated across the blank folding the sheet through about 120 degrees which subsequently drops back to 90 degrees when released. U.S.A. Specification 2,954,725 is referred to. |
