A kitchen trolley, e.g. for catering applications, has a modular construction with fixed side (4) and rear panels and fixed top (5) and wheeled base (6). The side and rear panels have interlocking edges with ridges and grooves. The panels are double skinned with an insulating filling and with tray support flanges (8) on the inside of the side panels. The front of the trolley is fitted with doors (2). The edges of the inner skins are shaped into the ridges and grooves. The trolley can be large enough to take two trays per layer with a central bulkhead with tray support flanges on both sides.
