摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the output values of polarized light emitted from first and second optical fibers by each wavelength, without requiring a light source and power source by each of the first and second optical fibers. SOLUTION: The multiwavelength light source device includes a polarizer 22 which demultiplexes the polarized light emitted from a plurality of light sources 1 to 4 and multiplexed by dichoric mirrors 17 to 20 to s-polarized light and p-polarized light, a first optical fiber 25A in which the s polarized light demultiplexed by the polarizer 22 is made incident and the second optical fiber 25B in which the p polarized light is made incident, a measuring instrument 28 which measures the output values of the s-polarized light and the p-polarized light emitted from the first and second optical fibers 25A and 25B by each of their wavelengths, and a regulating mechanism 24 which regulates the polarization rate by each of the respective wavelengths of the s polarized light and p polarized light made incident on the polarizer 22 based on the output values by each of the respectively wavelengths of the s-polarized light and p-polarized light measured by the measuring instrument 28.
