PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature setting apparatus for air-conditioning capable of preventing malfunction due to intrusion of indoor dust and refuse into a casing, improving temperature detection accuracy, and preventing deterioration of detection accuracy of a temperature sensor in regard to a temperature setting apparatus for air-conditioning having a temperature setting means for setting a room temperature desired by a resident, a temperature sensor measuring the room temperature, and a control means for comparing an actually measured room temperature by the temperature sensor with the set temperature by the temperature setting means and controlling operation of an external air conditioning apparatus, installed in an opening provided in a wall surface having a wall rear space, and electrically connected to the air conditioning apparatus through the wall rear space. SOLUTION: The casing 6 is arranged on the wall surface 5a, a lower opening 7 is bored in a casing 6 lower part and communicated with a room, an upper opening 8 is bored in a casing 6 upper part and communicated with the wall rear space, the temperature sensor 2 is arranged in a lower opening 7 neighborhood in the casing 6, and a heating component 9 in the control means 3 is arranged in an upper opening 8 neighborhood in the casing 6.
