PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection sensor which can adjust a detection interval within a prescribed range and which can control detection sensitivity. SOLUTION: In the rotation detection sensor 1A which is fixed in the state in which a mounting reference surface 14a of a sensor case 2 is fitted to a mounting reference surface 21a of a vehicle body structure 21 and in which a detection reference surface 3b of the sensor case 2 is disposed at a prescribed detection interval with respect to the detected position of a gear body 24, the sensor case 2 is provided with an interval adjustment member 19 which can adjust the projecting amount from the mounting reference surface 14a.
