PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a push button type lock mechanism with excellent operability by preventing a lid from being opened at the time of inputting impact. SOLUTION: In this structure, a lid part 3 is provided in a pocket part 2 formed in an instrument panel 1, the lid part 3 is supported to be sliding openable/closable via slide guide mechanisms 7, and the slide guide mechanisms 7 are provided with guide rails 8 provided on both side parts of the pocket part 2 to extend in a slide direction and guide pins 9 provided on both sides of the lid part 3 to be guided along the guide rails 8. In the structure, a fall-down mechanism 21 is provided to make the guide pins 9 fall down from the guide rails 8 at the time of inputting impact. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
