PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a problem a washing machine that, when clothes in a spin-drying tub are moved in the middle of the spin-drying and become unbalance states, cannot detect it and has a possibility of causing abnormal vibration. SOLUTION: This washing machine is provided with a program control means controlling respective processes of washing, rinsing and spin-drying; and the program control means executes a first process 17 of intermittently repeating a rotation and a stop in the spin-drying process, a second process 18 of reducing the number of spin-drying times from the middle of the first process to zero or the vicinities of 0, and a third process 19 of increasing the rotation speed by intermittently repeating the rotation and the stop after the second process.
