An easy-to-operate blind, comprising toothed band bodies such as thin toothed belts as pole holding bodies including operating band bodies in place of conventional cords and tapes. The blind is formed in a simple structure such that can accurately and stably hold moving rods parallel with each other, can silently and smoothly move the moving rods, and can eliminate those problems in the moving rods such as twining and breakage by the secure operation thereof without slippage by the engagement of the toothed bands and wheels therewith. In particular, the blind comprises a rod movement holding device suitable for a blind having a plurality of shield adjusting surfaces with a plurality of moving rods and a pole operating device.
