摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method and a device capable of compensating error in the result of measurement and reducing possibility of improper handling. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for adjusting an integrated cable signal employed when attaching a bearing 11 to a shaft through a tapered hole, distortion is measured in a bearing ring 13 when the bearing ring is driven in the axial direction on the shaft, reduction amount of instantaneous clearance in the bearing is calculated based on the measured distortion, and amount by which the bearing must be driven along the shaft is determined using the reduction amount of internal bearing clearance. A compensation device 17 is connected with a cable 16 between a sensor 15 attached to a measurement point and a display device displaying the result of measurement to compensate too high system measurement error in the form of the result of measurement which appears when measurement of distortion is performed not on an envelope on an inner side of the bearing ring, but on a side face of the bearing ring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
