COATING FOR CORROSIONPROOFING TREATMENT OF STEEL MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating for the corrosionproofing treatment of a steel member enabling the steel member to exert long-term rustproof performance through imparting high corrosionproofness to the steel member even under a severe corrosive environment by applying thereto.

SOLUTION: The coating for the corrosionproofing treatment of a steel member, for imparting corrosionproofness to the steel member through forming a coating film layer on the surface thereof, comprises a coating film-forming component and aluminum powder which comprises aluminum and has an oxidized film layer on the surface, wherein the thickness of the oxidized film layer is such as to be 0.01-0.1 wt.% in terms of the amount of oxygen.
