<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter for a PDP which has a high surface hardness and has the optical degradation of coloring matter resolved, which are included in a color tone correction layer. <P>SOLUTION: The optical filter for plasma display panels includes an anti-reflection layer, an ultraviolet absorption layer, and the color tone correction layer in order when viewed from the visual inspection side, and the anti-reflection layer is formed by lamination of two or more layers which are formed by sputtering and have mutually different refractive indexes, and the ultraviolet absorption layer is made of a thermosetting resin film containing an ultraviolet absorbent, and the color tone correction layer contains coloring matter having a color tone correcting capability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
