<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing apparatus having a plurality of treatment processes such as a heating process and a cooling process and intended for solving such problems that in the case of passing vegetable baskets on, required time for treating per vegetable basket is lengthened according to a process requiring time to the highest degree to decrease treatment efficiency of the whole apparatus and it is impossible to simultaneously treat vegetables different in treating time. <P>SOLUTION: This sterilizing processing apparatus 1 performs sterilizing processing treatment for farm products passing through a conveyor 8 for putting load in, a washing device 2, a heat-treating device 3, a cooling treating device 4, a dehydrating device 5 and a conveyor 9 for putting load out, and has holding bags 7 for holding farm products to be treated. The apparatus 1 is set with transfer places P1, P2 .... and P10 as a transfer destination or source of the holding bag 7 in every process, and a loader 6 to convey the holding bags 7 between each process and transfer to the transfer places.
