<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible stent without substantial shortening (shortening of a pipe length) which expands uniformly, can form a lateral hole, and does not damage the lumen or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The stent includes two or more circular members 1 which are arranged in a direction of a longitudinal axis and can be expanded in the radial direction, and two or more curved connection elements 2 which connect the adjacent circular members 1 and 1 together in the direction of the longitudinal axis. Two or more wavy elements 11 are connected to each other by straight line elements 12 and are continuous in a vertical direction in the circular member 1 in an expanded condition, and the adjacent circular members 1 and 1 have different phases by a half wavelength. Connections of the adjacent circular members 1 and 1 each other are made between transition parts 13 and 15 from the wave crest 111 to the wave trough 112 of the right side circular member 1, and transition parts 14 and 16 from the wave trough 112 to the wave crest 111 of the left side circular member 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
