<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a radial needle bearing. <P>SOLUTION: Drop prevention lock projection parts 15a, 15a for preventing needles 6, 6 from radially outwardly slipping off from each of pockets 13, 13 of a retainer 7a are respectively formed on a central part of axial both ends of each pocket 13, 13. By applying this constitution, outside faces of the lock projection parts 15a, 15a are not cut off even in grinding an outer peripheral face of the retainer 7a to form the outer peripheral face of the retainer 7a into the cylindrical shape.
