<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a putter head facilitating the confirmation of the position of a putter head from any direction, balancing a weight and allowing even a beginner to precisely hit a golf ball along a target line. <P>SOLUTION: This putter is provided with a face part 2 formed of an aluminum alloy block by overall cutting and having a flat face 2a in the front face, a ball hitting part 3 extending form a sweet area of the face part 2 to the ball hitting direction, a counterweight part 4 provided opposite to the face part 2 in the rear part of the ball hitting part 3, and a socket part 5 for mounting a shaft thereon projecting to a heel side in an approximately central part in the longitudinal direction of the ball hitting part. The upper face 3a of the ball hitting part 3 is formed into a projecting curved face having a projecting center and a plurality of lines 6 extending in parallel to or orthogonally to the face 2a are formed at an equal pitch across the whole longitudinal direction of the ball hitting part 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
