PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planter capable of decorating a wall with plants along with a wall surface so as to conceal the wall surface, also growing the plants healthily and prohibiting water from dripping down. SOLUTION: This planter on the wall is equipped with a frame body (10) capable of being attached along the various walls and forming a space for planting with a bottom surface and side surfaces standing up from the side ends of it and opening-up its front direction, a water-absorbing mat (20) at least spread on a rear directional surface corresponding to the bottom surface of the frame body and having a water-holding property, a soil-fixing mat (30) consisting of a porous material spread on the water-absorbing mat within the frame body, having voids for capable of being filled with culturing soil and capable of fixing the soil in the state of filling the culturing soil, and arranged with in a plurality of planting holes (31) capable of planting the plants to be planted in a pot and spreading in four directions of the frame body in a prescribed interval, and a holding frame (50) for holding the water-absorbing mat and soil-fixing mat.
