SUPPORTING METHOD FOR DIELECTRIC RESONATOR, DIELECTRIC FILTER, AND DIELECTRIC RESONANT ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting method for a dielectric filter and a dielectric resonant element which operates consistently even though temperature changes. SOLUTION: The dielectric resonator is provided with a metal housing 104 having an opening, a metal cover 105 to cover the opening, and the dielectric resonant element 103 having opposing flat faces 109 and 112 whose one side contacts to a bottom portion of the housing 104. At least one of the cover 105 and the bottom portion 110 supports the dielectric resonant element 103 and has an elastic portion to press either the flat face 109 or 112 with an additional influence so as to trail an expansion of the dielectric resonant element 103 by the temperature change. The additional influence of the dielectric resonant element influenced by the elastic portion is obtained by warping-backward of either the flat face 109 or 112, or a part of the cover 105 contacted by its marginal portion, or a part of the bottom portion 110.
