PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display on which an LSI can be mounted in a narrow space by using technology of COG and which makes it possible to visually confirm the mount state (electric connection state) and illumination of an image display part after the LSI is mounted. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises: a liquid crystal display part 11 constituted by putting a top glass substrate 9 provided with electrodes and a reverse glass substrate 10 provided with transparent counter electrode one over the other so that both the electrodes face each other and charging liquid crystal in a pixel area between the substrates 9 and 10; a circuit board part 6 provided with the LSI 5 for electrode conduction control mounted on the top surface of the glass substrate 3 provided with transparent wire electrodes 2; and an FPC 7 which electrically connects the respective electrodes of the liquid crystal display part 11 and the circuit board part 6, the FPC 7 being folded to put the liquid crystal display part 11 and the circuit board part 6 one over the other.
