PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make display of high quality, by preventing display unevenness from occurring by preventing gap unevenness from occurring nearby a seal material in the gap between a couple of substrates. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel has the couple of substrates, one of which has a projection part formed larger in plane than the other substrate, is provided with lead-out electrodes and dummy electrodes connected to ends of electrodes for display provided in a display area in a non-display area at a peripheral part of the display area of each substrate, and has the respective substrates formed integrally with a seal material in the non-display area. A dummy electrode provided in the non-display area at a position facing the projection part across the display area among the dummy electrodes is formed at a position and in a shape of axial symmetry with the lead-out electrode provided in the non-display area on the projection part side about a display area center line, in a direction crossing the projection direction of the projection part at right angles as a reference line.
