PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a drain valve mechanism for a power sprayer which is effective when working alone with the power sprayer (especially, in a back-pack type) without taking much labor for executing the drainage and by which the air-tightness can be improved because the internal pressure is applied in the direction of constantly closing a valve body, namely, in the direction of fastening the packing. SOLUTION: The drain valve mechanism for the power sprayer is composed of a valve hole 5 bored to a tank 1, a valve outer cylinder 6 protruded to the outer face of the tank around the valve hole 5, a valve inner cylinder 7 inserted into the valve outer cylinder 6 so as to be capable of pushing-in via a closing spring 8, a valve body 9, which is provided to the valve inner cylinder 7 and closes the valve hole 5 from the inside of the tank by the closing spring 8, and the packing 10 mounted to the valve body 9. When the valve inner cylinder 7 is pushed in against the closing spring 8, the valve hole 5 is opened and the liquid in the tank 1 is discharged through inside the valve inner cylinder 7.
