COMPOSITE MOLD ASSEMBLY FOR ORIENTATION BLOW MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composite mold assembly for orientation blow molding constituted so as to prevent the occurrence of a parting line at the time of pre-blowing by employing a cylindrical body in a pre-blowing mold, not requiring the mold clamping of main blowing molds by a mold clamping device even if the pre-blowing mold is arranged between the main blowing molds installed on a machine stand in a freely liftable manner and to enable even the attachment of a bottom mold. SOLUTION: This composite mold assembly for orientation blow molding is composed of the main blowing molds 5 attached to the insides of a pair of mold clamping plates 2 in a split form, the pre-blowing mold 10 attached to the underside lift device 11 between the the main blowing molds 5 to be provided between the split molds of the main blowing molds 5 in a freely accessible manner, a neck mold 7 closing the main blowing molds 5 and the pre-blowing mold 10 individually and the blow core 20 and stretching rod 19 fitted in the neck mold 7. The pre-blowing mold 10 is constituted of the upwardly opened cylindrical body for closing the leading end surface of the neck mold 7. The bottom molds 8 of the main blowing molds 5 are provided to the bottom part of the split mold 5a in a split form. A lift cylinder 9 is provided under both of them to provide the bottom molds 8 to the bottom part of a cavity so as to freely protrude and lower the same. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
