PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device in a superior liquid food heating apparatus favorably cleaning and removing dirt on a steam jet nozzle and its circumferential part and eliminating a trouble in a sanitation phase in use. SOLUTION: This liquid food heating apparatus is so formed that the steam jet nozzle is inserted in the liquid food and heats the liquid food by the steam emitted from the steam jet nozzle. A cleaning means cleaning, at least, the steam jet nozzle forms a cleaning vacant chamber surrounding the steam jet nozzle and comprises a cleaning vessel which has a water feed port and a drain outlet, and a lid which is provided in the cleaning vessel and has an insertion hole for the steam jet nozzle.
