In one implementation, an analysis method includes receiving a sample to be analyzed within an analysis device, generating a voltage waveform for use in implementing at least one operation with respect to analysis of the sample, applying the voltage waveform to an electrode of the analysis device during analysis of the sample, and wherein the generating comprises providing a plurality of discrete data values, and converting the discrete data values to the voltage waveform comprising an analog signal.
