<p>A tire/wheel assembly having a wheel, a pneumatic tire fitted on the wheel, and a run-flat support body. In the wheel, a rim is provided on the outer peripheral end of a disk with the center in the width direction of the rim offset to one side. The run-flat support body has an annular shell and elastic rings. The annular shell is placed in a cavity portion of the pneumatic tire, the outer peripheral side of the annular shell serving as a support surface having projected curved surfaces in the width direction, the inner peripheral side of the annular shell being formed as leg portions opening in a two-forked shape. The elastic rings individually support on the rim the two forked-shaped leg portions. The rigidity of an elastic ring positioned on the anti offset side is set lower than that positioned on the offset side.</p> |
