<p>A device is provided for preventing the removal of or tampering with a construction fitting (1) having two construction element engaging components (5, 7) which are interconnected by a nut and bolt fastener (9, 13). The device comprises a body portion (21) for at least partly covering the nut (13) of the fastener. The body portion extends from said nut (13) to a position alongside the bolt (9) between the two construction element engaging components of the fitting (1). The device further includes locking means (31, 53) which are movable relative to the body portion (21) to effect locking in position of the device around the fitting (1).</p> |
