SHEET REVERSE CONTROLLER

A sheet reverse control device is provided to reduce occurrence of jam by reducing a change in a gap or pitch between sheets before and after reverse action of sheets. A sheet reverse control device(19) comprises a first conveying unit for conveying sheets(12) in a first conveying direction; a reverse part(29) reversing the sheets conveyed from the first conveying unit in a second direction different from the first conveying direction; a second conveying unit(27) for conveying sheets in the second conveying direction; a sensor(35) installed to the second conveying unit to sense sheets; a calculating unit calculating a gap between sheets on the basis of the sensed result of the sensor; and a control part controlling the conveying speed of the second conveying unit to decrease the conveying speed of the sheets when the gap between sheets is shorter than a predetermined value and to increase the conveying speed of sheets when the gap between sheets is longer than the predetermined value.
