The invention relates to gravitational-wave astronomy, in particular to recording low-frequency gravitational waves. In order to increase the efficiency of low-frequency gravitational waves recording, space objects emitting electromagnetic waves whose length is variably modifiable are detected, electromagnetic radiation is recorded along the entire surface of the space object, afterwards the sectors of the space object surface having variable wavelengths are displayed and converted into the relative values of approaching and removing of the surface sectors with respect to an observer. The passage of the gravitational waves through the space object can be inferred by the quadrupole character of said modifications.
