<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay system, using a simple constitution which can relay various type signals using a simple constitution, even though a conventional relay system has had the problem wherein various type signals cannot be relayed. <P>SOLUTION: The relay system includes a central fixed station 10 which converts a signal which receives an input from a public line network 1, which should be relayed into a high-frequency signal by a radio modulator 2, converts the high-frequency signal into an optical signal, and which outputs to a plurality of relay fixed stations 30' dispersively distributed to a dead zone.
