<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the length and size of the whole of a drive device, to make it possible to combine a drive source of an arbitrary kind with a member to be driven, to reduce the load applied to a part having high general-purpose properties and constituting the drive source or the member to be driven and to lower a production cost or a maintenance cost. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic drive device of a molding machine is constituted by combining a bidirectionally rotatable motor 11 with a pump and has the operation shaft 21 provided to the pump and a locking part for locking the operation shaft 21 with the rotary shaft of the motor 11.
