<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for a planographic printing plate used for a planographic printing original plate, which can efficiently utilize heat for forming an image, exhibit high sensitivity, excellent plate wear, excellent hydrophilic properties and small spoilage at the start of printing and can suppress generation of scumming on a non-imaging part. <P>SOLUTION: The support for the planographic printing plate is obtained by subjecting an aluminum plate to surface roughening treatment and anodic oxidation treatment. The support is characterized in that a roughening structure, wherein a middle wave structure having a mean opening diameter of 0.5 to 5 μm and a small wave structure having a mean opening diameter of 0.01 to 0.2 μm are superimposed, is formed on the surface, and inorganic compound particles having a mean long diameter which is larger than the mean surface pore size of an anodically oxidized film and is less than the mean opening diameter of a small wave structure existing on the surface exist on the anodically oxidized film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
