<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for cable connection with which connection of cables is easy. <P>SOLUTION: The connector comprises a plurality of male contacts having a terminal part 11b each to which one of a plurality of cables C arrayed in aligned directions is connected and an insulating material as well as a header 1 having a male housing 12 retaining the male contacts, a plurality of female contacts in contact with the male contacts and an insulating material, and is provided with a female housing retaining the female contacts and a socket coupling with the header in free detachment. Two terminal parts 11b to each to which adjacent cables C are connected are arrayed separated from each other in the length direction of the cables C. As compared with the case in which the terminal parts 11b are arrayed in an alignment direction of the cables C, a distance between the adjacent terminal parts 11b becomes larger, so that it becomes easier to connect the cables C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
