摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a ceramic electronic component capable of accurately controlling the heat treatment atmosphere of an external electrode, obtaining a dense external electrode, and preventing ESR from being increased. SOLUTION: The ceramic electronic component 10 is manufactured by a process A wherein conductive paste containing nonmetal, borosilicate based glass, and an organic binder is applied on the surface of a ceramic substrate 1 comprising a perovskite type dielectric substance to form conductive films 5, 6 by drying the conductive paste; a process B wherein the organic binders in the conductive films 5, 6 are burned by heat-treating the conductive films 5, 6 in a neutral or reducing atmosphere of 50 ppm≥oxygen concentration; and further a process C wherein oxygen is imparted to the perovskite dielectric substance forming the ceramic substrate 1 reduced following the heat treatment in the process B for oxydization, by heat-treating the organic binder in a neutral or reducing atmosphere of 50 ppm≥oxygen concentration after the process B.
