PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram saving method capable of stably saving /reproducing data recorded as a hologram. SOLUTION: After the information recorded as the hologram in a prescribed position of an optical recording medium is reproduced, the reproduced information is rerecorded and saved as the hologram in the same position as the prescribed position. Otherwise, the information recorded as the hologram in the prescribed position of the optical recording medium is reproduced and thereafter the reproduced information is rerecorded and saved as the hologram in a position different from the prescribed position.
