PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradient magnetic field coil for easily reducing vibration and noise generated when the gradient magnetic field coil of an MRI apparatus is driven. SOLUTION: An intermediate part 23, which is between the main coil 21 generating a gradient magnetic field and the shield coil 22 canceling the magnetic flux and supports them, has a three-layered structure composed of surface plates 232, 233, and a honeycomb core material 231 between them.
