PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning brush in which bristles are made to firm in a brush piece and the brush piece is not broken, and which is provided with high durability and rapidly and inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: The cleaning brush for cleaning stain, etc., stuck onto a surface to be cleaned includes a base seat; a channel brush; and metallic fixtures. The channel brush is formed of the brush piece, core wire, and a belt shape body. In the brush piece, a planar synthetic resin foam body is used and a plurality of slits are formed from an outer end part toward a center part to a position which is separated by prescribed distance from the end part of the belt shape body. The brush piece is held between the core wire and the belt shape body and folded, so as to form the channel brush.
