PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a blood stream, to perform whole blood perfusion, to raise fixing density and purification efficiency of an adsorption radical to have a level being the same as that of a system using porous beads, and to provide a surface structure suitable for the adhesion of a functional group onto the surface of the membrane at a low cost in a power saving process. SOLUTION: A plasma separation membrane for hemocatharsis includes a hollow fiber membrane supporting not less than one kind of acid functional groups chosen from a carboxyl group and a sulfonic group, where water permeability is≥7,500ml/hr×kPa×m<SP>2</SP>and an albumin permeability is≥10%, and supporting not less than one kind of basic functional groups chosen from primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary amine and imine.
