PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably photograph different photographing parts without being affected by the photographing posture of a subject such as a patient with a simple and economical configuration. SOLUTION: A radiation image information recording device 10 includes a photographing part 14; an elevating/lowering part 12 for holding the photographing part 14, so as to be elevating/lowering possible; a lowering stop part 76 for temporarily stopping the photographing part 14 when the photographing part 14 is lowered and a prescribed value is obtained concerning distance between the photographing part 14 and the elevating/lowering lower limit; and a lowering switch 64a being a release part for lowering the stopped photographing part 14 to the elevating/lowering lower limit position.
