PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag with an umbrella stand function for fastening an umbrella to a bag without holding it with the hand when a person takes a seat on a train or the like on a rainy day. SOLUTION: A base plate (1) is provided on a lower part of the front center of the bag. The base plate (1) is connected with hinges (2) with an umbrella stand part (3), which is a fastening member of a long umbrella. Usually, the umbrella stand part (3) is stored by joining with magnet joining receiving parts (6) of the base plate (1) and magnets (4). When it is used, the umbrella stand part (3) is brought down 180°from the base plate (1), and the long umbrella is inserted to the umbrella stand (3) for standing the umbrella. A band (7) having a hole on a fastening side and a pin (8) on a receiving side are integrally provided on the base plate (1) as a fastening member of a collapsible umbrella. When it is used, a ring of string of the umbrella handle is held by the band (7) having a hole on the fastening side and the pin (8) on the receiving side for fastening the umbrella. The fastening members of the umbrella stand are separately provided for the long umbrella and the collapsible umbrella so as to correspond to all umbrellas. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
