The manifold has a flange (1) and a pipe (6) which is inserted in a support sleeve (3) which is connected to the flange. The support sleeve can be moulded in one piece with the flange. The support sleeve can be formed by widening a through opening (2) cut into the flange. Independent claim describes method for manufacture by forming opening in sheet metal plate provided to form the flange, producing a support sleeve around this opening and inserting the pipe of the manifold into the support sleeve.
