<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a manager's load by automatically executing defense against unauthorized access and to further realize the defense against the unauthorized access by utilizing a commercial product by providing a policy management device which automatically updates policy of a firewall by utilizing an unauthorized access detecting function of a network type intrusion detection system. <P>SOLUTION: This unauthorized access defense system has a firewall device 10 which restricts access from the outside according to the policy held in a policy holding part 13, an intrusion detector 20 which is placed in a DMZ segment 18, detects the unauthorized access and notifies the policy management device 30 of a log and the policy management device 30 having a log form conversion part 31 which is placed in an internal segment 19 and converts the log into the one in the present form, a policy creation part 33 which creates the policy for prohibiting the unauthorized access based on the converted log and a policy form a conversion part 34 which converts the created policy into the one in a form of the firewall device 10, transmits the policy to the firewall device 10 and applies it to the policy holding part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
