<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet, which prevents blister from developing even in case that the water contents of a core material is large and does not exert a bad influence upon the quality of a transferred image and improves the feeding-in from the paper feeding part of a printer to its printing part, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In this thermal transfer image receiving sheet 10, an image receiving layer 17 is provided on a base material 18. The base material 18 comprises synthetic paper layers 12 and 15 pasted on both the sides of the core material 11. Further, a white layer 13 is provided on the synthetic paper layer 12. The image receiving layer 17 is formed on the surface of the white layer 13. A large number of fine through holes 15a are provided in the other synthetic paper layer 15, resulting in preventing the blister from developing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
