<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which exhibits excellent ink absorbency, print density and light resistance and is free from bleeding with time. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording medium has an ink receiving layer of a porous structure formed of the secondary particles of polymer particulate on a support, and satisfies at least either of (1) the polymer particulate are synthesized of at least one kind of monomer having the I/O value of not more than 0.8, (2) the pore diameter Y corresponding to the maximum peak of the pore volume by the secondary particles of the polymer particulate in the ink receiving layer is not less than 33 nm, (3) the pore volume per unit thickness of the ink receiving layer is not less than 2.0×10<SP>-5</SP>mL/cm<SP>2</SP>/μm, or (4) the ratio [(Y/X)×100] of the pore diameter Y (nm) corresponding to the maximum peak of the pore volume of the ink receiving layer obtained from the pore distribution curve by a nitrogen gas adsorption method to the particle diameter X (nm) of the polymer particulate is not less than 65%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
